Kingfisher to reduce airfare

Published by ankur095 at 1:25 am under News of India Edit This

India’s most leading private airlines Kingfisher has decided to reduce its airfare in the beginning of the coming year. Vijaya Mallya, the chairman of Kingfisher Airlines, said that Kingfisher is going to effect fare cuts in all its flights from january 1, 2009 but he has not mentioned how much he is going to reduce. In this month, the price of air turbine fuel was decreased to half of what it was in the month of July. This is the lowest price in case of air turbine fuel since last two years. That’s why it is a great oppertunity of Kingfisher airlines to increase their market share by offering five star flying experience at very reduced fare.

Jet Airways had already reduced their airfare by Rs 400 in a month before and now they are also thinking to reduce the fare further which can be effected from the beginning of the coming year. So its a great challenge for Kingfisher to grab the present market.
